My son, Fletcher, is an alumni of Nashville Software School. He recently participated in a podcast with his Purity Health co-worker, David Andrews, discussing – among other things – the value of hiring junior developers. I didn’t understand a lot of what they were talking about, but the parts focusing on mentoring and company culture were really well defined. Watch the podcast here!

Playstation releases Ghost of Yotei!

So glad to be involved

Out of the blue I got an email from Playstation asking me if I was interested in playing some guitar (and bass!) on one of their video games, a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima called Ghost of Yotei. I’ve always wanted to do this kind of work and it was a real challenge but totally a blast. It’s now available, released October 2nd, 2025.

Safe Spaces is for the brokenhearted, the brave, and the ones still searching for a home in this world.
Whitney came to my studio, Timekeeper, and with a piano performance arranged and played by JB Taylor, sang this heart-felt song that she originally performed at Belle Meade United Methodist Church.

2025 CMA Medallion Ceremony

This was my 13th year as musical director of the Country Music Association Hall of Fame Medallion Ceremony, when the new members are formally inducted. This year’s members were June Carter Cash, Tony Brown and Kenny Chesney. It’s such a great night, and an absolute honor to be a part of this and share the night with so many artists and musicians paying tribute to those new members. click here for the recap!
