Jesse Welles at the Ryman

I’ve been impressed – really impressed – with Jesse’s lyrical prowess ever since I was introduced to his music. Now, having been to his concert at the Ryman, I am even more impressed with his guitar playing and with the band that accompanied him. There may not be a better modern troubadour than Jesse, and he can hold his own with just a guitar, harmonica, lyric and melody. But that, with the heft of a great band behind him, made for a very rewarding night. I highly recommend getting to know Jesse Welles music!
