Born and raised in Virginia, Biff has been involved since 1971 in the Nashville music industry as a session musician, producer, writer, publisher and manager. He has been featured in Guitar Player, Guitar World and MIX magazines and is a two-time Academy of Country Music nominee for Guitar Player of the Year. Biff serves on the Board of Directors of the Country Music Association, is a Trustee of AFM Local 257 and sits on the Executive Board. In 2015 Biff was named Musical Director of the Country Music Hall of Fame Medallion Ceremony, inducting the newest members into the esteemed Hall. He is President Emeritus of the Recording Musicians Association, Nashville Chapter, and is an alumni of Leadership Music, Class of 1997. Biff has been co-writer, co-producer and performer of the music for Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40 Countdown. He has produced #1 singles and gold albums, as well as many other records on artists from all over the world.
